“Astrini has photographed many of my life’s major milestones – wedding, maternity, and now, a family shoot with a 4 month old.
As someone who is uncomfortable in front of the camera, I was always hesitant to be photographed. Astrini was able to coax my partner and I out of our shell for all of our shoots with her. She was able to get us both in a comfortable head space, encouraging us to be ourselves throughout the shoot, making our sessions fun and playful.
Astrini is extremely client-centered and listens to her client’s wishes and concerns. I expressed liking raw, documentary, less-posed style pictures. She was able to deliver by being intentional about capturing candid moments during shoots. During my wedding, I was amazed at how many pictures she was able to capture despite being on the sidelines. Likewise, during our family shoot, Astrini was able to curate a documentary style album, capturing our day-to-day activities as new parents.
Astrini is deliberate with her composition and edits – her pictures are artistic, and exudes warmth and emotion. It’s always a joy to receive an album knowing that she has put in a lot of effort to edit every single picture to perfection.
